Zachary J. Schierl
Director of Business Development
Zachary works with Julius Capital clients to identify their critical funding need and to design an appropriate “total funding solution”, drawing upon Julius Capital’s substantial and growing toolkit of funding mechanisms that includes integrating finance and philanthropy, real estate monetization, and geothermal financing. Zach specializes in developing impactful relationships with JC clients and working alongside them to strategize and execute their priority projects.
Prior to joining Julius Capital, Zach held multiple positions in advancement and philanthropy across multiple theaters of the Catholic non-profit world. While still an undergraduate, Zach worked in Philanthropic Services at the Diocese of Fort Worth Advancement Foundation, assisting with diocesan capital campaigns and project planning. He went on to spend three years in the Office of Development and University Relations at the University of Dallas, where he prospected, drafted, and pitched research packages for high-profile giving opportunities designed to foster enduring connections between the University and its donors.
Zach is a graduate of the University of Dallas, where he studied Philosophy, Politics, and Ethics. He is the former President of the Society of St. Joseph, a Catholic men’s organization dedicated to helping young adult men lead virtuous lives amidst the temptations of the modern world, especially in and around college campuses. In addition, Zach is a published writer, and he is former Commentary editor of The Cor Chronicle.
