Zachary J. Schierl

Director of Business Development


 

Zachary works with Julius Capital clients to identify their critical funding need and to design an appropriate “total funding solution”, drawing upon Julius Capital’s substantial and growing toolkit of funding mechanisms that includes integrating finance and philanthropy. Zach specializes in developing impactful relationships with JC clients and working alongside them to strategize and execute their priority projects, including real estate monetization, planned giving, and operational budgeting.

Prior to joining Julius Capital, Zach held multiple positions in advancement and philanthropy across multiple theaters of the Catholic non-profit world, including Philanthropic Services at the Diocese of Fort Worth Advancement Foundation as well as in the Office of Development and University Relations at the University of Dallas.

Zach is a graduate of the University of Dallas, where he studied Philosophy, Politics, and Ethics. He is the former President of the Society of St. Joseph, a Catholic men’s organization dedicated to helping young adult men lead virtuous lives amidst the temptations of the modern world, especially in and around college campuses. In addition, Zach is a published writer, and he is former Commentary Editor of The Cor Chronicle.
